The Schla La Las: The Schla La Las

What a wonderful demo this is, but after seeing these five girls dressed like American hamburger waitresses and converting me to the band at the Truck Festival a few weeks ago, it should be no suprise.

The Schla La Las write songs that engrain themselves into your brain. Take for example the band's minute-and-a-half theme tune 'Schla La Las', a lo-fi version of Kenickie, and the funky and addictive 'Are You Ready' which has a lyrical whiff of YY28s' 'We're Going Out', which will have you humming away at work for months and raising a smile each time. Truly, they are the perfect band for the summer.

This is a feel-good band with catchy tunes and bags of talent.
