Brighton's The Go! Team are to play a handful of shows in the run-up to their appearance at Glastonbury.
The pop-hip-hopping collective are also playing a warm-up date at Portsmouth's Wedgewood Rooms ahead of their set at All Tomorrow's Parties in May.

i really really like Thunder Lightning Strike
but I was well disappointed with them the one time I saw them (supporting the flaming lips). It might have been the acoustics or a bad soundcheck but they sounded like they were playing six different songs at the same time :(

...are few bands of recent years that make my blood actually boil at the thought of their music. I'm not one for levying vitriol over a band publicly on a forum (so what am I on DiS for? ha ha) but I can't bear this band. I have to switch off the radio if I hear them on it. I had the misfortune of seeing them at the Dublin Castle on a Fandango night about 2 years ago whilst waiting to see a good band.
And then there was that whole fucking annoying business on XFM with their singer pretending she didn't know who certain well known musicians were. F.U.C.K O.F.F.
