won't you go for jail...

for posting this? thanks anyway.

I thought that NME reported Go! Team slot was a little too good to be true...

From that Main Stage, I think I'd only be interested in seeing that Exodus tribute. And that'd be at a stretch, as it clashes with Cold War Kids

I WANNA KNOW THE OTHER STAGES TOO, DAMMIT

hmmmm...

I'm still a little underwhelmed in some respects. But the sheer amount of performers is impressive

Good Stuff that we didn't already know:

Trentemoller
!!!
Hot Chip
Erol Alkan
Four Tet (twice)
Adem
Beyond The Wizards Sleeve
Tokyo Police Club
New Pornographers
M.I.A
Coldcut
Klaxons (twice)
Simian Mobile Disco
Vitalic
Para One
Filthy Dukes

and plenty more boonce boonce...

I guess that leaves me plenty of free time to 'experience' the whole festival though, so that's a plus

but only three days to see them all

when I saw that Vitalic has been added I nearly woke the neighbours! late night friday could have done with less clashage for me, otherwise I'm v happy.

I was hoping for a couple of surprises

but to be honest there's more than enough to be getting on with there so it's alright.

Namely:

Bjork
Arcade Fire
Rufus Wainwright
Pendulum
Vitalic
Erol Alkan
The Coral
Super Furry Animals
Bright Eyes
Patrick Wolf
Micah P Hinson
Beirut
Ed Harcourt
The Cribs
Holy Fuck
Eric Bibb
Trentemoller
John Fogerty
Mr Scruff
DJ Yoda
Tinariwen
!!!
Hot Chip
New Pornographers
The Stooges
Squarepusher
CSS
Biffy Clyro
Brakes
The Chemical Brothers
James Lavelle
Coldcut
The Go! Team
The Hold Steady
Modest Mouse
Cold War Kids

there's some real good stuff there

SFA! Gruff Rhys x2, Willy Mason, Chas n DAve...

The new Park stage looks pretty good, I reckon I'll be spending a lot of time there.

but no madness, i was sure they were meant to be playing.

Madness

Lost Vagueness Ballroom saturday.

No big surprises, but some cool stuff

!!! at the Glade should be rammed. Holy Fuck playing twice (shame on Thursday they're being followed by Nizlopi...)
Shame there's no Konono listed, hopefully they'll be part of Africa Express on Saturday.

some good acts

on the park. i shall spend most of my time between there, the other stage and john peel stage

no surprises

but still looks good

I'm still quite underwhelmed

but this will probably disappear as it gets closer.

The main stage is very poor, and I really expected better bands. They've gone for acts that both appeared at the festival in 2005 and who have toured alot in recent times. And Shirley Bassey....c'mon!

Having said that the shear mass of music means that they'll always be somebody decent on. I guess as it was my first glastonbury I expected something big, like a Pulp reunuion or something.

duh

there are TWO tony benn slots. see you there.

CLASH CLASH CLASH

Bjork, Hot Chip and Trentemoller all on at about 11ish on Friday night. Bastards!

there are some truly sickening clashes

Modest Mouse & Los Campesinos, M.I.A and The Arcade Fire, SFAs and The New Pornographers, Beirut and Vitalic.. Then there's the mockery that is the friday night headliner: Bjork, Hot Chip, Arctic Monkeys, Four Tet, Spiritualized, Squarepusher...

There's also Late'n'Live Thursday

The Late'n'Live stages don't seem to get much of a mention and there are performances on THURSDAY as well as Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The most comprehensive listing I've seen is on eFestivals website.
