Led Zeppelin's reunion show - scheduled for November 26 - has been postponed following guitarist Jimmy Page fracturing a finger.

The legendary rockers were due to reunite - albeit minus rather-dead drummer John Bonham - to celebrate the life of Ahmet Ertegun, a mentor of the band at Atlantic Records.

The London O2-staged show will now go ahead on December 10. All current tickets for the event remain valid. A specialist treating Jimmy Page commented:

“I have examined the fracture to Mr Page’s finger, and it is my opinion that with proper rest and treatment, he will be ready to resume rehearsing in three weeks time, and thus able to perform on December 10.”

Page himself said:

“I am disappointed that we are forced to postpone the concert by two weeks. However, Led Zeppelin have always set very high standards for ourselves, and we feel that this postponement will enable my injury to properly heal, and permit us to perform at the level that both the band and our fans have always been accustomed to.”

Any ticket-holders unable to make the December 10 date should apply for a refund by midday on November 14. Any newly available tickets will be made available via a ballot system. Check here for further details.

BIG LULZ

.

Shut up you twunts

get well Pagey you legend, hope it's not the left hand! :S It's seems pretty strange that every time Zep try to get together since the death of Bonham something bad has happened.

It's God trying to remind them

that no one cares.

People

obviously do though.

.

"However, Led Zeppelin have always set very high standards for ourselves"

yeah right. their live shows were notorious for usually having either a terrible page or a terrible plant, or both

yeah!

bad novels and wilting tulips all over the fuckin' place.

Does anyone 'normal'

ie non-industry types, have tickets for this?

What band

can you think of right now who are performing at a level that Zep were in 69'?
But with that being said, I would be honest to doubt that they could achieve the same standards that they were used to playing at back in the day. Christ they're like OAP's now! With no disrespect, they'll most likely churn out a 'classic hits' set list with the odd obscure number.
I can't afford the price anyway...
