Sam Duckworth will release his second album as Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly next spring.
Searching for the Hows and Whys will be out on the 3rd of March, a year and a half after controversial debut The Chronicles of a Bohemian Teenager.
A full of UK tour will presumably precede, coincide or follow these tracks from the metaphorical traps:
‘Let the Journey Begin’
‘Waiting for the Monster to Drown’
‘Young and Lovestruck’
‘Postcards from Catalunya’
‘The Children are (the Consumers of) the Future’
‘Window of Your Mind’
‘I Could Build You a Tower’
‘Keep Singing Out’
‘Moving Forward’
‘Find the Time’
‘This Could Be All’
‘Better Things’
‘Could've Seen it All’
Searching for the Hows and Whys was produced by Nitin Sawhney; ‘Waiting for the Monster to Drown’ will be available from the tomorrow (7 Dec) as a preview here.

Controversial?
hmm
first album was average, so i'm looking forward to giving it a listen!
'controversial'
means 'shit' now does it?
boy he needs some 'imagination help with his song titles.'The Children are(the Consumers of) the Future’is so bad.
what's with
"controversial"? I saw it a while back on a DiS article where it was describing Jack Penate... again without description of such "controversial" activities... now you may say "if you were so bothered as to google..." but the fact I'm having to ask at all is kinda indicative of a pointless insertion of a "hype" word.
He really is bad
a nice guy, but plain cheese. I remember when everyone on here used to go wild about him cus of the quirky band name. Then the humiliatingly-monikered debut dropped.
i think ...
anyone who gets this much attention as a solo guy so fast is going to have a hard time with his 2nd album. novelty wears thin quickly. i thought he first album was so so and yes it was 'no logo' michel moore style woooo anti ness at times, but hes honest about how he feels. I met him earlier in the year at this music event, he was speaking about music in general. He said some good things and was humble, somthing rare in musicians. I think this comes across in his music and so even thou i dont get off on his music, i think people should appreciate him.
Bashing is way too easy. This guys 21 has self realeased and toured and has an opinion that isnt about scummy men or girls and pubs and hes articulate.
seriously... come on.
imagine if
he performed under 'sam duckworth' instead.
or
jack duckworth
Performing under Jack Duckworth?
I'd pay to see that.
This mans voice makes me so angry.
Got the album on a reccomendation. Nearly caught rage.
Meep
I liked his first album. So, um, there you go.
Might go into Rathbones
and ask if they've got any Get Cape Wear Cape Pies
not to be one to blow the trumpet
but you can get a free download of a brand new album track at www.myspace.com/getcapewearcapefly
JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG!
I don't think on this occasion
that Duckworth should be cut slack for his age. He isn't any good and has nothing of substance to say and the music is really poor. He is moving fast but that's why it's ok to slap him down as duffus journo's prematurely ejaculated hype over this poor useless kid.
