Tokyo Police Club?
I like tokyo police club
because i've heard one of their songs, and i thought that it was rather good. This may not be the strongest recommendation that you hear for them, but i'm afraid that it's the best that i've got.

you can't judge a band on a few songs. and it's nice to get an opinion :)

virtually everyone who posts opinions in these threads will have judged the bands on a few songs anyway.

they are unforutenetly lumped in with a scene that the NME backs, therefor music snobs hate them by default :)

are also bloody good live.
I agree they are better thanmost of that "scene"

and i think the maccabees might be quite good. it seems that a good song gets played on the radio. and i say 'ooh. who is that?' and someone says 'thats the maccabees.' and i think: ooh.

I don't understand why people don't just search for their website, go to a blog aggegator and stream something, or choose their own music with their brain!!
