I am mot intersted in seeing the likes of charlatans play koko or amy bleedin winehouse play dublin csatle-i wanna c exciting new great music by bands ive not seen before! Lat year was great for this and got into scanners, tunng, kissaway trail, cherry ghost & born ruffians amongst others live for ist time !!

This year i feel it may be rubbish -can only go on friday as scensters and lager louts (hello red stripe fans !) have wrecked the sat !!!

As a regular gig goer i've already seen and rated live Answering Machine, bombay bicycle club ,fanfarlo ,noah & whale,.royworld.post war years, hatcham social & los campseinos

I advise everybody missing king blues (who were on last year pub opposite koko and worst band i saw on crawl ) how the f did they get back on ??

Florence & machine are really boring live and operator please are just ok but a bit one dimensional !!

Started to trapse through my space for the rest but a bit depressing so far

Cutting pink with the knioves and Blackole both sounded appalling and will avoid like the plague !!

Best i've found so far seem to be The Rushes, tellison ,figure 5 and Cheap Hotel !

I dont want to see bands i've already seen in last few months !anyone get any good tips on rest of fridays bill who are good live?

hmm

i was going to say answering machine, but you've done them already.

The Rushes are truly dreadful.

yeah

cutting pink with knives are appalling, i heard that theyre RACIST.

^ this ^

and they're rapists.

. . .

of ears.
dry-humped legs.
and camera lenses.

Cheap Hotel suported Acoustic Ladyland

A while ago and they were alight I think I got a bit of a crush on the guitarist girl cos she wailed on that thing....

In Case of Fire

are worth a miss.

What???

I was just going to suggest them to go see. They're probably the best band thats gonna be there!!!

I wasn't that impressed

after seeing them support Biffy Clyro. More to do with the fact they weren't that exicting.

Tellison

are incredible. Seriously you have to go and see them.

And I'd also recommened Elle s'appelle, Lykke Li, Slow Club and Johnny Foreigner.

These are unsigned bands that have been shortlisted to play the crawl. If you want to hear new and up and coming bands, go here and vote for the one you want to play.

My band is in there, sure. My First Tooth. But don't let that sway you! Vote for who you like.

Personally...

...I'm looking forward to seeing Bombay Bicycle Club and Lucy and the Caterpillar on Friday.

i saw lucy & the caterpillar a few months ago

thought it was dreadful..!

i'm looking forward to seeing sky larkin.

King Blues?

must be a 'fringe' event. don't remember them on the line-up last year either.

probably was

a fringe event As was early in evening in the small pub on the road opposite Koko !! They were simply dire !!

we are the physics

are playing sometime on the friday i believe.

they are amazing.

v v underrated.

go and see

William
Future of the Left
Johnny Flynn
Make Model
Wild Beasts
Agaskodo Teliverek
Acoustic Ladyland

This year's line up is actually pretty sweet, if overpriced

I know things you don't know, etc...

...the DiS bill/stage is, like, super... Well, based on some of the above recommendations anyway.

Thanks

For all the suggestions -it's well overpriced and only going as had great fun last 2 years !! If i get into 3 or 4 great new bands it will be worthwhile though !!!I have a promo copy of Johnny foreigner cd -they sound like a bit like bromheads jacket minus the humour but i reckon they rock !!
