Dear Jamie,

Please can you ask Barry to get the Mae Shi to play ATP on 11th May as they don't appear to be playing on tour that night and I really really really really really want to see them as they're not playing Oxford or anywhere nearby on this tour which is a real shame.

I think they'd be fantastic at ATP and lots and lots of people will like them too, so if you could arrange this it would be really really good.

Thankyou very much

How's about that?

Mae Shi are rubbish

Don't need em...

Dear Jamie,

Is it feasible that one day we will get an ATP curated by a "heavy music" act, thus increasing the chances of getting a reasonable number of actually good "heavy" bands in one place. I think this would be really really good. I sometimes suspect the ATP organisation don't like "heavy music" very much given the choice of curators and bands. Of course that is their prerogative, I just think it would be good.

you'd be completely

wrong about the not liking the heavy.

in fact i'd say there has been more "heavy" stuff on the lineups in recent years than there was say during the first few atp years.

of course this depends

upon your definition of the word "heavy".

I was basically thinking metal and hardcore

noise has been pretty well catered for. Is it feasible that a band with broad appeal like say Isis, Neurosis or Converge could curate a day at least? I mean surely they are just as big as Dirty Three and would get a totally different set of bands in whilst keeping it nice and varied. It would still sell out and that.
Anyway I can dream.

always

possible. i'd like to see more metal or hardcore too.

and me

yeah me

Dear Jamie

can i curate atp please?

Dear Jamie

Please could you send me a pair of tickets for this. Also, if you could arrange travel, accomodation and time off uni and work too, that would be great.

Thanks

dear jATPmie

is it true you work at ATP? you don't really talk about it very often so i'm not sure.

Damn, I was going to post something similarly funny,

but it looks like you've got there first.

Dear Klaire and Clichegaygaygay

please go and have lots of sex together

Dear Jamie

How many ATP festivals have you actually been to?

i think with

Bill Cosby releasing his rap album he should curate it!
