oh shit!

i think i really need to go to this, seeing as its most unlikely i'll ever get an oxford show sorted. but monday, why does it have to be a monday... :-(

I hate Cargo.

It was unfeasably packed last night. Although my love for Yoni and co probably outweighs this hate so i'm totally there.

Yeah

I don't like it either, it was supposed to be at The Garage but as it seems that venue is NEVER going to happen, it's been moved.

i saw cinematic orchestra there

a few years ago, it was an absolute shit to get to, the queueing was ridiculous though, and took ages to get in as it was rammed but it was worth it and si begg dj'd too so that was a bonus!

im never going to see these guys

I move around too much :(

Tickets are bought!

I'm going to see Yoni!

WOOHOO! Sara, if you're reading this, THANK YOU!

Tickets for Brighton

the night after on July 1st:

http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?region=gb_south&query=detail&event=264719

They're also in the Rounder and Resident record shops in Brighton too.

ughhhhh

do i buy? considering what everyone has said about the venue and the organisers i'm a bit wary...but it is why? and i love why? so i think i should buy tickets to see why?. ok, i'll buy some right nowwww.

eh?

the venue's actually ok, it's just that it will no doubt be rammed.

what have people said about upset the rhythm? surely they do no wrong, it's all good!

just that they can't seem to get

the bands on until really late or something and i live quite far away from the place so it might be a bit difficult getting back. but yeah they seem to always put on great gigs so what do i know, i'm just being presumptuous. i bought tickets anyway.

What have people said about the organisers?

UTR are still the best promoters in London, they still put on amazingly varied line ups and keep ticket prices as low as they can. Without them so many amazing bands would never have made it to london.

The only critiscism I have is their shows hardly ever run to time, which was fine when i'm a student but when I have to be up for work I can't regularly go to shows that finish at 12.

i'll be on summer holidays

when this gig is on :D

Excellent news

This resolves the "Why? vs Bon Iver" dilemma on 4th June.

Cargo as a venue is fine. Always very good sound and as long as you move away from the entrance you can get yourself a decent view of the stage, even when it is crowded/sold out.

And finally, UTR are London's best promoters. Period.

Ticket bought!

Yeah UTR are the best promoters, they consistantly put on the best line-ups. Not a big lover of Cargo but it's ok. They do awesome chips.

but it's another gig ticket i can't buy yet

who wants to get me a ticket for this? birthday present? come on guys, why? are like my favourite band but i can't afford anything cos of ATPs rinsing my bank account for the next month :( :( :(
