One of the best albums ever made? I still think it sounds great despite being released nearly 14 years ago. Any thoughts?

Classic album!
I haven't heard it in ages
I think that band helped to validate the overblown, overrated Grunge Scene. Superunknown is a hallmark album, seems like Rusty Cage, Superunknown, Black Hole Sun and Limo Crash were my favorite songs. Fantastic singer who could peel the paint off the walls. I liked the videos from that record too.
i think..
....badmotorfinger/superunknown/down on the upside is a golden trio.
the fact that....
... you include down on the upside as in the same league as superunknown shows me you perhaps dont appreciate the same things from that album that i do. which is entirely possible.
i saw soundgarden live at reading, they were crap. terrible sound mostly.
but that album, maaaaaaaan......

i went to see Soundgarden on the Superunknown tour !!
In Manchester, it was the week after kurt cobains suicide!!
Soundgarden were awesome and so were Tad who supported.
I wouldnt mind a Soundgarden reunion now Chris is done with his Bond themes.
Amazing album.
I would really like a Soundgarden t-shirt. I used to own one, but I appear to have loast it. I was once headbutted outside Our Price in Edgeware whilst wearing it.

just listening to it on the ipod now thanks to this thread, not heard it in a while, top album, Badmotorfinger is probably my favourite but this comes close!
Definately one of
the best albums of the 90's. Probably the only album of this era that I still listen to regularly. And I think it's better than Badmotorfinger.

until this album came out. Still, not one of my fave 90s bands, but this record rules.
