I have always been used to using metres/centimetres to tell how tall I am, but obviously not everyone understands the whole metric thing so I've tried to calculate how tall I am in feet+inches. Sounds simple, doesn't it?
For a while I thought I was 5'11". Then after a while I recalculated it and found I was 6'. I have believed this to be the truth for years now. UNTIL I got into a discussion about this last night and we checked and now every single converter says I'm about 5'9".
I just don't know what to believe in anymore.

come and live in wales. it's very height affirming. :) or move to hong kong. I remember standing in the street, in a massive crowd of people. and being at least a head taller than everyone... i felt a bit silly to be honest.

Trousers and jeans are a nightmare...they all hang over my feet, I have to literally fold them under (can't be asked to go to a tailer and the only places that offer Petite sections are high street retail)
Being short's not too bad - except at gigs. I invariably get stuck with the tallest person stood right in front of me. Sometimes I wonder why I bother at gigs because I'm paying to listen to music and not see a thing!

Ideally i'd like to make it to the elusive "6'" mark at some point, but it's looking VERY unlikey. I've heard from some sources you stop growing at 17, 19, 20, 21 and various different ages, so the chances are slim to none of me getting any taller.
