hmmm

not for me, also wasnt that march?

Oh, you're right.

Sorry - the gig was in April.

Do leaks count?

Subtle
Kayo Dot
Flying Lotus

Will all probably appear in my top 5 of the year.

no leaks!

but i do want to hear the flying lotus album..

Evangelista - Hello, Voyager

is awesome, too.

Evangelista is indeed cracking!

Now listening to new Portishead for first time. I'm liking it a lot, but whats with the sudden ending to the first track. I had to rewind it just to make sure it wasn't just my stupid cd player. I was enjoying it as well

Other than them 2, Jacaszek and Possesseed By Paul James have been favs.

Hells yeah

discJokke - Staying In
Cut Copy - In Ghost Colours
Frightened Rabbit - Midnight Organ Fight
Man Man - Rabbit Habits
Sally Shaprio - Remix Romance

Probably more. It's been an excellent month.

ill go with

cut copy and frightened rabbit

a few really stick out:

Titus Andronicus - 'The Airing of Grievances'
Silver Jews - 'Lookout Mountain, Lookout Sea'
Portishead - 'Third'

I've only heard M83 once

t'was okay, not great. Boris, not for me.

Portishead. Totally awesomeness. Better than Dummy...seriously...erm, maybe.

Cut Copy and M83 fo sho!

Apparently, that's all I've heard.

...

frightened rabbit & forward russia!

april is the month of two great sophomore F's!!

good month

Frightened Rabbit
M83
Boris

has Gregor Samsa's album been released this month?

I went into HMV today

and I picked up new albums by The Fall, Tindersticks and Portishead. And I put my money on the counter and I said 'here's my 25 dollars, I am leaving...'

Frightened Rabbit - The Midnight Organ Fight

Portishead a close runner-up.

Boris was pretty good too. I'm not crazy about M83 so far.

well

i've not actually heard it, but judging from all of the songs i have heard (about six of them) the wildbirds + peacedrums album should be up there.

i might buy it now actually.
