Smart Brooklyn duo High Places have shaken hands with London label Upset! The Rhythm with whom they plan to a release a single and a brand new debut album this year.

The latter is yet to be titled but an arrival date of September 8th has been confirmed by U!TR. The release follows last year’s fine singles compilation 03/07 - 09/07, which will be re-issued by Thrill Jockey on the 2nd of June.

A single, entitled ‘Vision’s the First’, comes out on the 26th of May, before these live shows, some of which are with Deerhunter, one of which is with Telepathe:
