A few months ago everyone was going crazy over these guys. Now they have a new album out and no-one seems to care. Whats going on?

I thought
it was only very recently that people had started talking about them on here. It's fairly obvious that a band's first proper album would sound like their songs generally do, isn't it?
It's not their first proper album though.
They have like 5 out already.
If not more
depending what counts as a "proper album".
Even so, it's still not surprising they sound like "typical Wave Pictures" - this is a band that haven't changed their sound at all in about 10 years together. But I'll probably be getting this at some point, they always make good summery music...

I wasn't surprised that it's typical Wave Pictures, I wouldn't really want it any other way. Anyway, to be fair it is quite different to Sophie, more Hefner, less Modern Lovers, so i was probably talking utter bollocks earlier. Basically it's good and thats all you need to know.
I think i'll be listening to this a lot in the coming weeks
