just listening to 'we can have it' for the first time in what must be a couple of years.
are the band still going? did anyone in the UK manage to catch them?

I'm pretty sure they're still going

No evidence to the contrary.

No Cities Left is a brilliant record, one of my favourites of this decade thus far. Gang of Losers isn't as good but is still pretty decent.

No Cities Left

had one good song; Lost in the Plot with You, Gang Of Losers was awful, hey don't have a cow - thats just my opinion.

JohnnyZaza: I disagree!

No really, Gang Of Losers was great, they're definitely still about but they're MIA at the minute...

I haven't heard the 2nd record,

the first is one f the only cd's which I've never really listened to too much. Pretty humourless, with a few decent songs.

I dunno where the right reply should go

but I just feel like saying I have a couple albums and thought, "Yeah kinda ok, but certainly nothing special...indie-pop-rock by the numbers, eh."

aren't

they having a baby? or something?
the singer and his girlfriend i mean.

i thought theyd had it

never stopped Low from touring/releasing albums

No cities left

Is great but it reminds me of something I don't want to remember so I don't listen to it much now! Hence I didn't buy gang of losers. I saw them twice, once at Brum academy 2 at the time of No Cities and then at the New Order Wireless day in Hyde Park. Enjoyed them both times. Murray has a fab voice, and the chicks are hot!! Ahem.

Bit of a strange band

Always seemed to have some kind of deep-rooted sadness that permeated everything they did. I saw them once around the release of No Cites Left and can just remember them seeming so miserable. Also one of the women (keyboard maybe) just stood staring into space for the whole gig. Weird. Definitely had a few good songs though.
