Post your favorite Pavement song you think nobody else has noticed.... The idea here is to find new songs that might have been overlooked...
mine - "Lions (Linden)" from the Slanted and Enchanted Sessions.

harness your hopes (b-sdie to carrot rope)
and
westie can drum (b-side to stereo)
Tartar Martyr
Soiled Little Filly
Mussle Rock (Is A Horse In Transition)
westie can drum
for me too.
Does anyone know when the deluxe version of Brighten The Corners is due? They did an excellent peel session around that time which'll be nice to have on disc.
still due this autumn
sm has said that there is plenty of material as good as/better ready to go on there. he could be referring to the excellent b-sides, but as likely a lot of unreleased stuff. should be excellent.
as well as the peel session, theres a great session for KCRW with new tunes and great covers (what goes on, rainy day sunshine girl).
as for obscure pavement tracks, i hope the btc reissue has a studio recording of "nigel". kind of a sister to "harness your hopes" - deserves a good treatment.
great news
something to look forward to after the summer.
Thanks.
Ah, Pavement nerds.
Can there be a finer species?
How about 'No Tan Lines'?
Everyone probably has heard this..
But im constantly addicted to listening to it.
Gangsters & Pranksters
All my friends
from the CR, CR re-issue
Black Walls
not on any cd, but there is a live version on the dvd
ive brought crooked rain to work
the deluxe, so im gonna be finding some hopefully
Not very obscure but
Strings and Nashville and All My Friends
Give It A Day!
Dumb summery genius.
...
Circa 1762 from a Peel Session
So Stark You're a Skyscaper from the Trigger Cut plus 2 single
I don't have any of the 'delux editions' so they may have subsequently appeared on one of them and are probably not that obscure after all
Also
isn't Lions (Linden) on the Watery, Domestic EP so not really that obscure?
