after finding the Primal Scream cover and being quite disgusted ive found the original for the first time (after presuming it was a Slowdive original). its quite beautiful:

Get Nancy Sinatra "The Hit Years"

It's got al the great Nancy and Lee duets. Lee Hazelwood was a singer/songwriter/producer and you can find lots' of his stuff which is good "Cowboy In Sweden" being my fav. He just died a few months back so there should be some kind of anthology coming our way soon.

Optimo's 'Kill The DJ Part 2' mix ... the second CD contains some the the best music ever, including this song...

I love the Primal Scream cover.

Sure, it is not a patch on the original, but it has its charms.

they are a band

and have been for years and years. Never heard of them???? You can find it on Evil Heat, though the single version is better. I like it, (and love Primal Scream by the way) but not nearly as much as the Nancy & Lee original.
