Worst food shop in the world? Everything in there tastes like sick. Oily sick, with some salad sprinkled over it. Disclaimer: The cakes are probably nice
I had one of those veggie subs once: The bread was lightly toasted so as to be annoyingly crunchy and the only thing in it that had a taste was that sauce they put on. Grim.
Pret food is good and interesting. My main complaint is they put raw onions in almost every veggie sandwich that has cheese in.
Their New York veggie special with the gherkins is amazing. Their mozzerella and tomato with herbs croissant is greatness. Really tasty. Who cares about heart attacks?
are fantastic. In fact, I like a lot of their sandwiches. The posh cheddar and pickle baguette is great, as is their new Summer Brie-ze. I've never seen a salad in there or Eat for more than £4.50 too.
Ham and jarlsberg baguette <3
I like it
although I think it's more fattening than Macdonalds? May explain a few things this end.
i used to love it before i lived in london
my step-dad would always bring us a back a sandwich when he was up there for the day but when i lived there i just found it ridiculously over-priced.
also EAT £8 or something for a small salad WTF?
Eat's mega-expensive.
And to be fair, Pret wasn't too bad with prices 8 years back.
:(
it's my favourite shop in the world. it's amazing. the mature cheddar and roasted tomatoes bloomer is incredible.
^ This
They give away all the left over food to homeless shelters at the end of the day
That's why they close early in most places.
Poor homeless people:(
seriously quite bad for their health
might as well buy a nice tub of sunflower oil and leave it next to all the sleeping men
HA!
but they use only the freshest ingridients
i read a pamphlet
Overpriced
and underflavoured.
^
unless 'slime' and 'seaweed' and 'calories' are flavours
I like their falafal sandwiches
Otherwise I'm not fussed about them.
I've never bought any food from there
but the one in glasgow seems brilliantly priced.
You can get a good coffee for less than £1.50, which is basically a massive win for me.
At least they're not Subway.

I went to Subway
for the first and last time the other week. Everything about it was rubbish.
I went in there once and asked for a "veggie supreme"
They put crap cheese on some bread then asked me what salad I wanted, the same as you get with any other sandwich.
So veggie supreme = cheese.
brilliant.

hmmmhmmnnnenenene
posh cheddar and pickle baguette. they good. but make me FAT
I had one today
and I saw you yesterday.
main problem is they're 33% owned by mcdonald's
yeah?
Problem being that that 67 per cent too little?
not any more
a private equity consortium has bought Maccy D's out. it's now owned by the so-called Masters of the Universe...
Pret A Minger
more like. Gross.
