I used to work in a pub in Chesterfield. Avangaaaaaard(sp?) played there and did cutting edge songs by Stereophonics, Green Day and Oasis.
Didn't realise this was a forum to brazenly plug pub rock bands.

But the west coast of America is bigger than the entire UK and is therefore bigger than one city, which all your dates appear to be in.
And your myspace says you played in such places as: Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Hollywood and Beverly Hills which all = LA btw.
Admittedly it is a big city, but it doesn't take up the entire West Coast.
Oh and someone failed Languages too, as if pronounced Avant-ga-ay-rd.

played a gig with these guys in preston 2 weeks ago!
They didnt hang around to watch our set after we politely sat there and watched theirs!!!!
Ended up playing to the bar staff and sound man, and we came all they way from dublin for that gig! : (

A) You know fuckloads too much about them to be a random passing fan and are clearly one of or friends with the band.
B) Don't take this the wrong way as I'm not trying to be nasty - this is meant as good advice. Don't get overly-carried away by "label interest". I know lots of bands who've had label interest. It's nice but label interest means pretty much nothing until it becomes firmed up in the form of a definite contract. Most bands who have label interest still don't get signed. And most bands who get signed still don't get as far as they'd hoped. So don't take label interest as any indication you'll prove anyone wrong...
