I've never seen Animal Collective live, but I would like to think they would be good.
And you should at least stick your head in the door for a bit of Ghostface/Raekwon, though it could very well be a shambles.

support EITS at the Astoria, very different to the sound on the new album. Not much of the piano-based sound, more emphasis on layers of guitar and some subtle laptop samples, very very good.

Is it just me or do all Envy songs sound exactly the same? Not that they are bad, but it's more or less the exact same rhythm and screaming in each track.

"Your Shoes and the World to Come", which is the closing track to "All the Footprints You've Left Behind and the Fear Yet to Come".
The record as a whole is damn fine, if a little samey in parts, but this song is the rampaging sound of the universe collapsing in on itself.

I think that i've seen Four Tet about twice and was disappointed both times. Although one of those might have been Fridge. I blame Eat Your Own Ears.
