And it works the other way round too. There's stuff you hear on the radio that you KNOW is utter bollocks and you and your friends talk about how crap it is, and yet you never turn the radio off when it's on...

definitely. i hear the odd glimpse of something decent and enough people whose music taste i "respect" enjoy them, but they don't do anything for me personally.

i'm the same as pichaelmarker above with joy division. there's so much fuss over them that i guess there must be something good going on there, but i really, genuinely cannot understand it. literally one of the worst bands i've ever heard.

any kind of dance music outside of clubs sickens me - not sure if i appreciate it at all, ever, but i dont seem to mind when fucked in a club.
