I've been listening to some great songs from the 70s/80s recently. Such as:
Blinded by the light,
Don't fear the reaper,
Radar love,
Golden brown,
American pie.

Terribly old fashioned I know :p, but I was hoping some of you out there might no of some songs that are worth listening to and in a similar status as the others.

Is this a wind up?

If not:

Steely Dan: Showbiz Kids
Dire Straits: Sultans of Swing
Talking Heads: Once in a lifetime
The Cure: Lovesong
Men at Work: Downunder

Oh yes

it is a windup. My bad.

Seriously

What...It's not a windup. I was being serious. I'm just about to check out the suggested tracks. Thanks, seriously though, I'm being serious. That's alot of serious in one paragraph :p.

If you think of any others can you post them too?

Thanks Very Much!

Those song's are awsome, thanks for helping to lengthen my playlist :D.

*edit*

'Men at work: Downunder' Was a song that I knew, but had totally forgotten about, thanks especially for that one.

The following should sort you out.

Alternatively you could buy one of those Drivetime albums ;)

Rainbow - Since You Been Gone
Badfinger - No Matter What
Big Country - In a big country
Whitesnake - Here I Go Again on my own
Boston - More Than a Feeling
Cheap Trick - Surrender
Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way
Don Henley - Girls of Summer
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama

Just wanna say...

Thanks for all the suggestions so far. Some of them have been awsome. I used to have 'Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way ' on tape XD. Long since forgotten about it. Thank you all very much.

Crazy on You

I used to have

a limited edition of Here I Go Again on 7 inch. Unfortunately I sold it to the son of the man who invented the glow around the Reddie Brek man. True story.

Curious thread indeed

anything by Free....my dad recommends Wishing Well especially.

well....

anything by the cure,gary numan,david bowie,joy division....
also blue oyster cult are shit..... did they just do that one song???
pffffffft

Hmm...

I don't know how many songs Blue Oyster Cult have done, but Don't Fear the Reaper is a bloody good song, and that's what counts.

Any help?

This time looking for a specific song/band. Not sure if it's a band or song, but it's Wordsworth...Should have been released in the 80s I think, the only lyrics I can remember are:
'words are like a certain person who can't say what they mean and don't mean what they say'
Very vague I now, but any help would be very much appreciated.

Nevermind

Found it.
