Thrasher were always bang on the money when it came to music so I investigated further.

this is mainly coz i havent listened to the others as much yet!

i got 13 songs from the library as i liked minor threat.

1. leeds met halloween 2002 live bootleg. Its official, and its real good. from a gig i went to and their penultimate UK gig. 27 songs, great sound, especially on reclamation which sounds so big.
2. the argument - mega grown up, quite far reaching musically and still angry, but focused and calm
3. red medicine - very odd at times and has some awesome tracks on it. stuff like the drop on by you is some of my fave music of all time.

im never one to rate repeater as their best as i think it sells them short musically even if it is still a fantastic record. something like end hits is prob the best eg of fugazi since it encompasses so many of their different approaches.

everytime i see the title 'fugazi' i get all excited thinking a tour has been announced... but no, it's another top record post... hmmm...

A friend played me 'Do You Like Me' and i was hooked!, back in 95 i think!

I watched a program many moons ago about a guy who used to set off home made bombs in cinemas, in New York i think, along time ago. And he sent letters to the police taunting them On the program they read parts of the letters and i'm positive that they read what is on the cover of 'In On The Kill Taker'. can any one clarify any of this!

I think it was either through good ol' John Peel playing 'Furniture' first on his show once or watching Instrument late at night at the Leeds Festival 2001. Whichever was first. The first thing I bought was the Furniture single anyway.

Read about them in Select magazine sometime in the late 90's I think. Bought 13 Songs, it went from there really. Despite really loving Fugazi I almost never listen to them.

My big brother brought it home one day. It was probably after reading about it in the NME, that was how we got into bands in the 90's, as people our age then do now. It was a dark, angular and dischordant masterpiece, i'll never forget the first time i heard Ian McKaye singing Facet Squared. WOOW

That's my favourite album of theirs (isn't the first one you hear always the favourite?). Then Red Medicine, then Repeater. My favourite band of all time.
