has anyone been to see them on the current tour?

i'm tempted for tonight, but i'm also tempted to catch up on some rest after too many ATPs!

Saw them at Royal Festival hall about a month or so ago

I thought it was wicked. The sets changed a fair bit from the original Nite Versions stuff. I would say go!

they havent dne nything new for a while have they?

I would like to see them mind. I want some more Soulwax stuff!

saw them at warehouse project

would have been a superb night, they were great, but had to leave early due to a friend getting a wee bit messy haha

They've been

doing nite versions for nearly 3 years now! Has anything changed? They're always brilliant though.

Nite Versions is awsome

but I'm a bit bored of 2 many DJ's. They need to do something new, I think a lot of people are stating to loose interest.

i've seen them a couple of times doing their 2many Djs sets

and they have also ways blown the house down - absolutely awesome!

^ this

Seeing them at Wild in the Country in July. Seems like a pretty ideal setting for a Nite Versions set

i agree with bagel

i think they do need to try something different, and although they're playing the remixes live now, i reckon they need to mix it up a bit more to make people interested.

they are fucking brilliant to watch however and a guaranteed good nite out, but i don't think they're as 'hot' as they were 3 years ago when they first started doing the nite versions tour. they had justice as the supporting djs then too :D

n.b. by 'hot' i mean people don't talk about them as much. i am aware it sounds lame

I saw them in Bristol

The film is great. (Rockumentaries frequently aren't...)

Nite Versions was great because it was 50/50 covers and the Nite Versions album, i.e. a bit different from the last time.

I had to miss 2ManyDJs. Work night and they were on very late.

Really want the rock band version back soon though. So I can be in another of their videos. :)

^10000

exactly the same. i had to miss 2ManyDJs too.

they were excellent in bristol.
ALTHOUGH i noticed most of the crowd seemed to be over 30 which wasnt what i was really expecting

Sorry

haha

:D

over 30s are meant to be deaf and senile.
i was pleasently suprised. my faith in the elders has risen as a result

prob too late for you now Ady,

But their show at the Royal festival hall was ace. Although they've been doing the Nite Versions thing for years, they've changed it now so that it's based more on the remixes they've done.

I would have gone back for the show tonight if I didn't have to be in down in London tomorrow.

i can't go anyway

i've somehow acquired an infection in my finger and it hurts like fuck, i thought it was just a blister but it's much worse!

gutted.

what's the latest As Heard on Radio Soulwax mix?

I haven't heard a new one in ages..

I kinda stoped listening after about 10

cos they got samey really.. I dont think you can beat the offical one they released really.

I've missed 2 many dj's so many times

maybe 2 many times? Lolz. Are they doing any festivals this year?

always very good live

Seen them about 5 times in total, and 2 many djs always know how to get a crowd going.

Last time I saw them it was ruined a little by all the new rave scenester gays mind.

I've seen them four times

and each time they've done something a bit different. First time was the straight up Any Minute Now stuff (which is massively, massively under-rated imo), the second time it was all Nite Versions (which was beyond incredible), third time it was all the remixes (more commercial obviously, but still really fun and really impressive), and just recently it was a mix of those two. It still works really well, and they're bringing in new stuff into the sets all the time (storming version of Get Innocuous the other night), there's still fewer bands out there who are more fun live in my opinion, they're far and away the best 'live' dance act there is.

2ManyDJs were a tad stale when they played the other night, but it was a VERY commercial set, and you'd have to be pretty cold to refuse to have fun at what they do. Which again, they do far, far better than anyone else. If you're drunk you pretty much can't fail to have a good time.
