they are the nuts

one of my favourite bands ever. Lynot is a genius - awesome, awesome band!

Great band

Got to see them live last year when they were supporting Deep Purple. You can't beat the classic line-up though.

Too

True. Totally awesome rock band.

who doesn't love

a nice thick slice of Thin Lizzy.

They rock

And the other guitarist in my band is the absolute spitting image of a young Phil Lynott.

live and dangerous

has to be the definitive Thin Lizzy album. If your going to own anything by them then that alone would suffice.

Classic Rawk makes me want to die

cry/weep/cringe.

That's because

you probably have no penis.

lamewad

i am old enough

To have seen them live and met Phil Lynott backstage so have his autograph !! He was a really nice bloke -shame he died so young !! Live and Dangerous is one of the best live albums of all time !!

Thin Lizzy are badical

Live and Dangerous is officially the 2nd best album to get drunk to (after Raw Power)

Incredibly tight grooves, superb playing, brilliant songwriting, all topped off with the beacon of badassery that is Phil Lynott. What more could a man want?

oh yeah.

Live and Dangerous is ridiculously good for riffs, twiddles, singalongs and grooves.

i love the bit before emerald...

on live and dangerous where phil lynott says,
"is there anyone here with any irish in them"
cue cheers from the crowd and then a few seconds later...
"is there any other girls who'd like a little more irish in them".

this alone makes it the best live album of all time.

brian downey

...has been in my house.

my friends mum

went out on the piss with Phil Lynott

(yes, she's irish)

i know its a cliche

but I fucking love Whiskey In the Jar. Live and Dangerous's twin guitar attack; Gorham and Moore is awesome.

Brian Robertson

is on L&D not Gary "Please no" Moore. Robbo's a genius.

Jailbreak

"Hey you, good-lookin' female... come 'ere!"
