i'm putting on the Manchester show and just got the word through from the tour manager. Yoni broke his hand in Copenhagen then got mumps, then apparently Josiah got mumps and they are pulling out of the UK tour....and working on rescheduling as we speak...

this is my fault. the only music i have listened to for the last day or so has been why? and i was enjoying it too. then i got pissed off that i didnt get any tickets for this tour, so my negative feelings must have manifested themselves in illness and injury for the band. i had mumps once.

I was so excited about this, and I turn 19 on Thursday night. Was going to be the best birthday gig ever :(

Was looking forward to it, as well as Jonquil. Wonder if/when it will be rescheduled to.

The only plus side for me is that I am seeing Get Well Soon the day after, and The Notwist the day after that, so it would have possibly been a bit tiring for me, but still pretty sucky.

Fucking hell.

it's just the uk tour dates to June 8th that are cancelled, due to the tour's compounded health problems. Most of the dates look like they'll be rescheduled prior to their return to Europe later this month FYI.

Manchester date has been rescheduled to the 4th July. It is likely most of the other UK dates will also be rescheduled - have created another thread to speak about this...

I arrive back into London that evening at 20:08 in Paddington with a weekends worth of stuff (back to Wales for my Dad's birthday). I've got a flight at 11:15 the next morning that would require getting up at 06:30 to get ready for.

Wait, when I write that down it doesn't sound so bad.
