the only standout track is black cat. give it a few listens and the whole thing is fantastic. especially ghost and the lovers. really worth getting.
hated it at first
plodding and relentlessly unimaginative, which is all the more surprising given how adventurous the last album was. i don't think it's too much to ask for at least one club banger on each record. 604 had 'playgirl', Light & Magic had 'Seventeen' but Witching Hour left everyone miles behind with 'Destroy Everything you touch'. The new one doesn't have a single standout, though 'Ghosts' and 'Versus' are a bit above average. Very disappointed overall though. Will give it a couple more chances, but after that, it's up to the remixers to make something of this, though judging by the 'Extended Play' EP, there's not much to look forward to.

It's shaping up as being their best album.
Although you do feel its length.
