Fans here?
What do people think of Evil Urges? I think Highly Suspicious is a stroke of genius.
And good to see a band striking out in new territory.
Hoping [in vain] that they will be a surprise late addition to Latitude. But in my heart of hearts I know this won't happen...
seriously, anybody?

Taking its time to settle.
But I think Z is a masterpiece.

It's a real grower
and one of those that, once you've heard it live, I imagine you'll completely fall in love with.
Ridiculously good live band!!
There's one of these threads already!
For my money, I started with It Still Moves and don't regret it.
I have to say
that MMJ are my favourite band right now. I was appalled at the review on here, its definitely not a 6.
At Dawn, It Still Moves and Z still blow my mind. All three are awesome albums.
Just yesterday i was watching the Okonokos DVD. The CD is great, but i recommend the DVD just because of the sound quality.
Seeing them in September, i may wee myself in excitement every day until then
rapidly turning into one of my favourite bands
Consistently fantastic without ever doing the same thing twice. "It Still Moves" is one of my favourite albums - the closing couplet of "Steam Engine" and "One In The Same" is unparalleled - but I'm actually kind of loving the whole "bunch of hairy southern dudes do sexy 70s disco southern-rock style wth a bit of Prince and Grateful Dead on the side" thing they seem to have going on with Evil Urges.
I was really desperately hoping for some Latitude action for MMJ but alas not...still, you going to see them at the Forum in July? It'll be my first time seeing them, can't wait.
does anyone else think that stripping away all the reverb
on Jim's vox reveals what a surprisingly weak voice he has?
Just an observation. I've noticed this in quite a few tracks on Evil Urges.
Can't stop listening to Sec' Walking though.
