Unfortunately yeah they split last year
awesome band though I havn't heard risk revival but cryonics was awesome.
that's my favourite album at the moment
the onyl good thing they did....

Risk Revival is TIGHT, yo.
they had some dodgy emo chorus things sometimes
but generally really good. the last album pretty much eradicated the bad "melodic" singing
a new set of lungs is great though, it basically sounds like another saetia record. putting the past right has the best old school emo intro ever *lo fi guitar* *high end kicks in* I! WILL! SAY! THIS! awesome

Hot Cross. Not the easiest listening ever. The two EPs are well worth checking out too.
Saetia were better...
I didn't really care for Risk Revival but A New Set of Lungs and Cryonics are pretty neat. I forgot Fair Trades and Farewells, another great one.

Off Minor
are better than Saetia and Hot Cross, so there.

cryonics is maybe my favourite thing they have done, but risk revival is splendid,
i think you were too busy getting foamy at the mouth about variations on swing to notice it come out maybe?
saw their show at the fighting cocks last year and they seemed pretty pissed at how the tour had been going, think it might have had something to do with them splitting
dunno if you have checked out (i think the guitarists old band) joshua fit for battle,
but if you havent then you should because they are seriously good

Were eons better. That's not up for debate.
As for Hot Cross, they're fantastic, though. I was fucking pissed off, they split the day before I planned on buying a ticket to a show.
I ONLY LIKED THE DEMO SO I MUST POST ABOUT IT REPEATEDLY.
god knows how anyone can criticise hot cross' lyrics and pine for saetia. saetia were fucking embarassing at points.
The difference being they were a better band
but yeah, but Saetia lyrics weren't great. As i said, i'd still take Off Minor over both.
i'm stoked on the off minor tour.
i still never 'got' saetia. but then, i also think the first hot cross record is pretty boring, so i'm clearly well against popular opinion here.
I prefer Risk Revival
to their older stuff. It's awesome.
I'm not overly convinced by Saetia either.
