It spawned a thousand pale imitations and a much reviled genre, but no one else came close. In parts hilarious, disturbing, thought provoking and always musically brusque and exciting. Plus of course, it's Mike Patton doing what he does best. Being the most versatile and varied male vocalist in modern music.
I've never really heard much FNM
but I LOVE the Dillinger Escape EP that Mike Patton sings on so.... should I bother gettting into a now defunct band? Is it worth it?
yes
because they are better than DEP
they must be pretty damn good indeed then
intriguing.
Angel Dust is a must-have

King For A Day
is a lot better than people give it credit for.
For most people I know
its their favourite FNM album. Not me though.
i agree
and mouth to mouth was one of their best singles.
my favourite band ever.
they are sorely missed
Album Of The Year IS underrated but Angel Dust for me is still their most complete work - it is their apex and a very special album.
I'll second that
Angel Dust is one of my favourite albums of all time.
i used to love them then
but now I do not
i blame their wretched spawn
still got love for Epic and We Care A Lot and all of Angel Dust
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............mebbe I do still love them
i concur
i listed in that thread 20-50 albums and what not must haves for DiSers.
