Frightened Rabbit @ White Heat

Although a JAG, thought this might be one of interest to quite a few people here.
We're putting the bands on at White Heat on Tues July 8th.

We've booked Frightened Rabbit to headline. I believe its their first UK show on returning from America and their only London one for a while. As well as that support from Esau Mwamwaya (feat Radioclit) and Collapsing Cities. Esau is particlarly amazing!

It's gonna be big like John Goodman.

  • dead like john goodman?

isn't he dead? is john goodman dead?

    • John Candy

is who you're probably thinking of.

Goodman hasn't kicked the can yet, I dont think!

      • ah yes

        that's the one, candy.

in other news, i might come to this. safe.

  • amazing

    i love frightened rabbit.

    • not so amazing

this clashes with red sparowes :(

  • cool.

  • This Tuesday!

    Come. Very exciting.

  • ace

    I love Frightened Rabbit.

  • How fast are tickets selling?

Will there be enough to buy them on the door?

    • ....

Havent had an update since Thursday but there will definitely be tickets on the door. Even if the online allocation sells out before Tuesday, 60 odd tickets are always held back for people who want to buy on the door so you should be fine.

  • if anyone wants to cover the door for me whilst frightened rabbit are on

    that'd be massively cool.

  • This sounds like it will be a good little show

Plus, I've really enjoyed the other two gigs I've been to at Madame JoJo's. Roll on tomorrow!

  • anyone got stage times?

what time are headliners normally on at white heat?

  • distinct lack of

plasters/antiseptic cream at Madame Jojos. Pretty decent gig though.

    • omg

      mr k was there.

      • you should have come

unless you hate all the bands.

        • i was gonna

but then i couldn't be bothered. ah well.

  • Great little show, this was

Actually enjoyed the supports more than the (none-too-shabby) headliners. Well done!
