cashing in on big festies?

i hope this one is more like Aha Shake Heartbreak and less like Because of the Times

why?

BOTT was awesome.

I like both

just prefer the first 2 albums to the newest, the newest sounded too engineered for stadium rock to my taste, a bit false perhaps

no

i love because of the times.
aha shake heartbreak is OK.
although the bucket is possibly the best song ever.

i dont think its engineered

hes just improved his elocution.
and i chuffed for them that they're headlining glastonbury

Because Of The Times is their best work yet

anyone who says anything else is kidding themselves

I'm kidding myself

Y&YM, their best by far.

I'm kidding myself

Aha Shake Heartbreak, their best by far.

One of THE most

underrated bands on the planet.

How many bands in the past 5/6years have bought out 3 consistently brilliant albums?

"One of THE most underrated bands on the planet"

I don't think you could call them underrated.

i do

everyone was shocked when they were chosen for glasto.
but they're definitely good enough

^ I have seen them 3 times

the first time they really couldnt pull off a festival, then I saw them at Reading 07 near the top of the bill and was shocked how much they had improved. Then saw them in a fairly large venue in Brighton Center and was shocked that they still seemed to be getting better at belting out tunes to large audiences.

They are the best new stadium rock band we have and shouldn't take them for granted.

^ good post.

by underrated i mean as in they dont seem to get the recognition they deserve. Especially over here, which is weird considering they are american.

^ i agree

they're one of the most successful bands who have kept the quality high enough for there not to be a real backlash

thats what i meant

i'm in the US.

ooooo yea

lol my bad :)

Oooh, thats the day after my birthday.

Should be good, looking forward to it.

This Band

Totally blow my mind. Liek... why? What is good about them? How the hell did they get so massive they can headline festivals and sell out wembley... It's unbelievable. They're awful!

Also

For those suggesting they are underatted.

You are absolutely catagorically wrong.

Headlining Glastonbury.... to a crowd of 150,000... is completely the opposite of underated. It's the biggest "rating" in the the English live music calender.

They do good rock music

its simple but appealing, they really started to grow into their own on the last album. I can't put my finger on why I do like them as I don't tend to like this music, but they do it well & I appriciate and enjoy it.

Excellent stuff.

They've accidentally become one of my favourite bands, and now I adore them. I look forward to this a lot.

And re: the above: Because Of The Times is a fucking phenomenal piece of work. The end.

<3

^

can't wait for more kings of leon. they do make me happy.

I was JUST singing that to myself.

Excellent work.

Add it to your Zonino DJ setlist thing!

and by that I mean 'play it at Zonino'.

^ this

Very good news

Can't wait for this.
One of the many things I like about Kings of Leon is that they don't have just one massive album that everyone agrees is their best. All three of their albums have been great and all almost as good as each other.

i love them

but i think i'll be spending my pocket money on the rolo tomassi album instead.
