Delicious Danes Efterklang are to 'do an Ash' (pick your own retrospecting band of choice, there) in September, performing their much-acclaimed Parades album of 2007 in full, from start to finish.

The performance - an echo of ATP's successful Don't Look Back series which has seen the likes of Mudhoney, Low, Sonic Youth, Isis and The Melvins perform an album from their past in full - takes place in Copenhagen on September 26; the band will be backed by the Danish Radio Sinfonietta.

What that means: over 60 musicians will be on stage, bringing Parades (review) to life like it never has been before. If you can get a ticket to this one-off event, which will be recorded at DR Byen (home of the Danish Broadcasting Service) DiS suggests you do so. Details in full:

Parades in Concert

Yes, I will sell you an organ to attend. Not one of mine; my mum's got a lovely one in the loft.

This album

really isn't that great. Sounds pretty, but no songs!

It is

almost tempting to have a holiday to clash with that. Would be great for a London gig of that, or for more great gigs in Denmark around then, hmmm.

Better than anything

This album is.
It is absolutely incredible and as a live performance this band is supreme and this show would be incredible.
i am currently looking at flights to copenhagen.
