...i saw the 'wild my mate won tickets to an xfm gig. they did half acoustic and half rock! it was great....sure they did captain too. and paint nothing. all the classix! \m/
paint nothing, anihilate now!, last night i missed all the fireworks, out of routine, century after century.
good choice of b sides too - distant history, i was made to think it, no generation etc.
even the warnings/promises stuff sounded good
they supported themselves tand played all the 'hits' acoustically.
definately the best gig i've been to in years.
also for those who may care, roddy has short hair again.
we played with them (BIGGESTNIGHTOFMYLIFE) their last 2 songs were queen of the troubled teens and chandelier, twas amaze. annihilate now! tho, well jealous.
Got a ticket at last minute and didn't even know they were doing acoustic first then oldies. No Everyone Says You're So Fragile (despite my harrassment), but Paint Nothing and Fireworks in encore was the sex. Very, very sweaty. Not seen them that good since... well, about 1998
they did Self Healer, Queen Of The Troubled Teens and Chandelier.
And Let Me SLeep Next To The Mirror, which has always been my favourite and that was the first time I've seen them play it in eight years of going to see them live.
excellent
i really want to see them play self healer.
that's a treat to hear too
i've seen them play it once.
also saw them play it acoustically but it didn't really work
last time...

Oh but why did they kick out Bob
Like "The Remote part" is a classic album but everything else since has been a bit mehh!
They should just go back to being a four piece!!
:)
100 broken windows was a nice mash of the remote part and hope is immportant/captain
any other relics?
what else did they play?
lots

damn
i've seen them 7-8 times, and couldn't make this show :( sounds like it was better than hammersmith palais which was the best i've seen them.
Bastards
They ended the encore with
Last Night I Missed All The Fireworks

that was great too
it was a brilliant gig
shame the venue looked like a school hall though, I guess I think they're bigger than they actually are :(
