so where is everybody up to?
I just unlocked Sonic through playing the multiplayer lots, and it looks as though I'm getting towards the end of the subspace thing. It's suitably epic with all the characters teaming up fanboy style in purple swirley land.
Some of the challenges are impossible. Trophies mean nothing, but I'll hate myself if I don't get everything. Endure a 15 minute brawl!? How is this possible?
Also, I have warmed to Ike and Donkey Kong.
and I really really love the stage creator.
I have still only had two hours play time.
Someone at work did give me a sheet of smash bros stickers which has slightly made up for this.

Mainly played subspace
so far - onto what appears to be the last level, a absolutely huge mazey thing with lots of bosses. I won't ruin it and name names, but there's probably 30-40 of them. It's got it's own map and everything.
Also done about 10 events, completed 10/100 man brawls and played through easy/normal/hard versions of the standard mode with a few characters. Only done two online matches so far.
30-40 bosses!?

I think I'm about to start a maze section.
Yeah...
you get like all the characters you've found so far to choose from, and can save/change your selected 4 on a semi-regular basis at save points. It's pretty immense though.

He's kind of the obvious choice
plays better than in Melee, although his water gun thing's a bit crap.
I'm not liking Snake - powerful, but too slow - finding Mr Game & Watch quite novel (never unlocked him in Melee), Pikachu a little harder to play with and Ice Climbers as rubbish as ever. Still tending towards Link overall at the moment, although I haven't given a lot of the characters much time yet.

at first i thought they ruined him with the water gun thing, but his old down+b move has just been changed to down+a, which isn't bad.
snake is awesome but really slow, and ice climbers are only there for the few fanboys out there.
sonic is probably going to be one of the higher-tier characters this time around.
