Ive recently moved to London from Edinburgh, to pursue my aspirations as a singer. I have tried finding bands, but there is nothing available in the direction that I am keen on taking on.
I have now decided to start my own band. Id be looking for a drummer, bassist, guitarist (possibly 2) and a keyboardist. One of the extra musicians should be a confident backing vocalist. The instrumental song that I have attached on my MYSPACE page, I wrote entirely on computer software and its just meant to be a guideline of what Id like to try and achieve as a band, but I am hoping to find the right people, then build songs that everyone just gets goosebumps from when playing, tunes that people who listen to it, can become a part of. The other song on the page is an old one to give you an idea of my voice. I am a huge fan of bands such as jacks mannequin, This day and age, Explosions in the sky, Sigur ros, farewell, Jimmy eat world, +44 i.e lots of melodies, harmonies, up tempo, epic. Melodic rock type stuff and so on.
