That's probably my favourite thing ever, when you can hear the raindrops on the window at night and you're all snuggled up like a bug in a rug all dry and warm. The gutter outside my room drips when it rains heavy, it used to keep me awake but now i love it. I'm running a hot water bottle and getting my totes out, i've got a feeling tonight's going to be an amazing adventure. How much do you enjoy sleeping, tell us about it...

ALEC
I don't extract much enjoyment from sleep.
I would much prefer to be eternally awake than have to resort to a state of unconsciousness every so often. I avoid bed.
you have no soul.
the part between being awake and asleep is the single greatest thing in the history of the world. i try and make it last as long as possible.

Yep
one of my favourite things is waking up in the middle of the night and looking over at the alarm only to realise that you have another few hours. Then you get to stretch your legs out, put your head on the pillow and slowwwwwly drift off. I enjoy beds and sleeping so much.
also
that bit between waking and dreams is when your mind starts to really wander. If you remain slightly conscious, the roaming of your mind can be quite interesting and fun.
Whenever this occurs,
i realise i'm going to oversleep by several hours and unknowingly miss an important healthcheck, appointment or social gathering if i allow myself to drift off into slumberland once more.
It's a horrific moment as i realise i haven't adequately refuelled in both a mental and physical sense for the day ahead, leaving me in a state of relentless paranoia as the next dozen hours are spent fighting the irresistable urge of using camo-stealth to reach the closest park bench.
Energy reserves depleting: not cool.
Although rain at bedtime is brilliant.
Me too.
i find that..
everytime i read an article about sleep, i feel sleepy, regardless of the time of day. of course, i can never find that kind of reading material when i need to get up at 5 the next morning, and end up staying up till 2, somehow managing to get up at 7 and regretting it the rest of the day. the cycle repeats itself ad infinitum.
when i drink tea before bed i feel really hyper
lie there for hours not nodding off. i've had coffee a couple of nights recently and i've gone as soon as my head's touched the pillow. i also find that if i've had any alcohol i always wake up mega early, 6-7ish, but if i don't have a tipple i nearly always oversleep. uvavu.
Its like looking into a mirror
:)
I love this
its one of the best feelings in the world
i get a warm fuzzy feeling inside when this happens
mainly cos i hate homeless people.
: DDDDDDD
I love the sound as well
^5
get a conservatory
for extra amplification
i love this
especially when its cold and your sharing a single bed with someone you love.
i can just about remember the feeling :(
I don't like it because
it makes the cars sound louder, and because the roof above my bedroom once started leaking when it was raining, so now whenever it rains a lot I get paranoid that every drip is inside my room and have to keep getting up to check.
The landlord has nailed a bit of tarpaulin or something over where it leaked but I don't trust his DIY skills.
Your username makes everything better.
I just want to clarify that.
