Rip It Off

If you haven't already.

.

Mark Hollis - Mark Hollis

stunningly beautiful

true.

or a later Talk Talk album, Spring of Eden or Laughing Stock.

ops

got my albums mixed up there, I meant the Spirit of Eden and not the Colour Of Spring.

Erm

Mogwai - Young Team Reissue, I just recently bought it :)

But Zapsta...

WHERE THE HELL DO YOU FIND IT???(to buy, that is)

safe as milk

Selected Ambient Works 85-92

by Aphex Twin

everyone needs a lil digital bliss in there lives.

HMS Fable

by Shack

not strictly an album but

the cats x3/this town needs guns split, I've been listening to it a lot today.

The Blue Nile

'Hats'

One of the best albums ever made. Only 7 tracks long, no filler, three of my favourite songs of all time, perfect mood, era, lyrical themes, everything.

I've always meant to check out the Blue Nile

Are they as good as people say? Do they not have an annoying overtly "80's" sound?

I like them

But at the same time it's obvious listening to them that they're not for everyone. I've never played them to anyone and had it met with a good reception, but then I've never managed to persuade anyone to like the Red House Painters either and loads of people love them.

My Bloody Valentine

Loveless

I bought this recently

as you guys keep going on about it. I haven't listened to it yet, watch this space.

Stock answer to every 'reccomend' thread

Circle takes the Square - 'as the roots undo'. It just is that good!

yes!! ^

I've got into them quite recently, really fantastic stuff.

Wilco

Yankee Hotel Foxtrot

this ^^^ gets 2nd place

behind my suggestion

probably

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven

Deepchord presents Echospace - 'The Coldest Season'

bliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiss

seconded.

_

parliament - mothership connection

that is if you want some 70's funk.

I second that

Great album

john martyn - solid air

although it's so perfect that you may never lilsten to any other music ever again.

take your chances.

Prince - Parade

had a revisit to this on the weekend. Perfect pop with a dash of something twisted.

I am assuming you have Sign O The Times as any decent music lover would.

also try dirty mind

also perfect pop with a twist of something twisted. really well crafted songs trimmed down to the bone.

Another Green World

Brian Eno

Odessey and Oracle

if it's not too much of an obvious classic

Don Caballero

American Don

in the aeroplane over the sea.

by neutral milk hotel.

get it.

yes

Thats why I came here, to say that - and now you have said it - so 2 votes for us, we win!

Ned's Atomic Dustbin - God Fodder

or;

Frightened Rabbit - The Midnight Organ Fight
Tool - Aenima
Soundgarden - Superunknown
At The Drive In - Relationship of Command

CHANGE

by The Dismemberment Plan.

johnny foreigner

when the lights go out

instant classic in my humble opinion

Leftfield

Leftism

Blonde Redhead

Misery Is A Butterfly by Blonde Redhead
