is genuniely one of my favorite albums of all time.

So, albums that aren't considered cool that you REALLY REALLY REALLY love.

Is that the one of theirs I own?

I don't expect anyone on DiS to know the answer to that question.

I've just looked it up

It isn't. I predictably own Songs from an American Movie: Volume One.

I also like that one as well

I really just like Everclear an awful lot.

Is that the one with heroin girl on it?

When I was 16 I shared a room with a guy who played that approximately 50 times per day and that is NOT an exaggeration.

No

That's Sparkle and Fade.

it's also ace.

I'm a huge fan of that album too.

That and Sparkle and Fade. They definitely began to lose their way when Art had run out of heroin stories to tell and he got all happy though.

Errrrr...

Barenaked Ladies - Gordon
They Might Be Giants - Flood
Panic! At The Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out
Terrorvision - How To Make Friends And Influence People
Therapy? - Infernal Love.

Are they all uncool? I really don't know!

Barenaked Ladies

are beyond cool...:)

I don't really know that much about the others

apart from Panic. Who I don't like.

it's alll about

bloodhound gang- hooray for boobies

despite the obvious great songs on it (chasey lain, bad touch), my favourite has to be the awesome three point one four, all together now "I NEED TO FIND A, NEW VAGINA"...hello?

hehe

'Hello mom. I need to find a word that rhymes with Vagina'

My first girlfriend LOVED that album.

It's imprinted on my brain.

Also...the first song clearly the best.

Highlight for me is a Lapdance is So Much Better When The Stripper is Crying

Either for the title or the line "I never knew missing children could be so sexy".

Although completely aside from the comedy aspect I think the cover of Along Comes Mary is great.

Although nothing on that album comes close to I Wish I Was Queer So I could Get Chicks...

I went to see with back in 2005

for a mate's 18th, thought we'd go for a laugh- ended up having just that! One of the most fun gigs I've been to

with = them

what the hell!?

Oh I forgot to say as well.

Fall Out Boy also make records that I really really love as well.

:D

Met her at a party and I took her home

She is the saddest girl that I have ever known.
She wakes up in the middle of the night, Just to tell me everything will be alright.

HELLS YEAH! Sound of my youth right there.

That was the only Everclear song the DJ at the local rock club here in Blackpool used to play...

...and she ALWAYS faded out that last bit.

She also cuts out the slow, heavy bit at the end of Davidian by Machine Head.

She really has no idea :(

I liked Everything To Everyone

but never got the album.

Do it...

sparkle and fade, the one before sparkle and fade, and so much for the after glow

are all great albums I will never listen to again

apart from the lyrics

the best Everclear album is the first one, World Of Noise - 12 really awesome simple grunge pop songs. Sparkle and Fade and So Much For The Afterglow are a bit cringeworthy in places, but are also fantastic fun.

After that... well I got American Movie 1+2 and I think ended up giving them away to people. Haven't bothered listening to anything else since.

I saw them at the Astoria in 2000 I think (the last time they played in the UK?) and despite effectively having two new albums to promote, I think they only played AM Radio and announced it as something like "our shitty sellout song", and played about a 2 hour set of "the classics". Great show! But in a way, glad they haven't come back to ruin the memory!

^

this pretty much........ except have got Slow Motion Daydream which is goof, but not amazing.....

First album is tops, recorded for only $600 I think, rough as hell and awesome........

Saw that Astoria gig and also at Highbury Garage about 97.......... Great band.....

I love both of JJ72's albums

and what I heard of their third
