This thread seemed to be folks that knew each other and were meeting up at Latitude, so I think I was just saying I am there but not I'm not in with the DiS type folks

I should probably abandon reply.. I don't think I'm making sense.

Anyway, are Black Lips now clashing with Interpol due to MIA dropping out?

I really hope they're not clashing - that would be a massive mistake. When did MIA drop out?? That's bad enough as it is!

About 2 or 3 weeks ago I think. She cancelled all of her booked shows, but I'm not sure if its the end of MIA, or her being lazy, or something else..

Although the stages all seem to finish at different times, so maybe the main and second stage headliners don't clash.
It's really hard to figure out who I'm gonna be able to see!

the headliners were on at different times last year, if I remember correctly...although I just barely remember drunkenly meandering my way to a tent after Damien Rice, so I may be wrong!

I really wanted to go last year, but I'm way too skint for my own good :(
I've only ever done Leeds festival before, so I'm anticipating an experience 100x greater than that.
+ Sigur Ros. I've never seen them before, it's gonna be sooo good

It's going to be a lot busier

this year, but I'm sure it will still be a brilliant atmosphere.
It's 100000x better than Leeds (never been, so that's a speculative opinion!)
I've never seen Sigur Ros either, can't wait - also, DeathCab4Cutie!!! :)

I'm there!

My only worry is that I'm driving down with three girls and there are precisely no males at all. Plus one of the girls has broken her foot and is worried her skin will rot if it rains and her cast gets wet.

I think I'm going to have to make some male friends to counteract the estrogen I'm going to faced with over the weekend (no offence to any ladies obviously!).

Besides that I can't wait :D :D
