Got myself Emperor Tomato Ketchup & Transient Random Noise Bursts - where to next? Im less into the quirky songs but stuff like 'Slow Fast Hazel', 'Cybele's Reverie' and the first few off of 'Transient...' really float my boat

what he said. Getting your hands on the Jenny Audioline EP is probably a good move too

yup

MAQ is good. Quite like Peng also...That aluminium tunes or whatever looks like quite a good compilation of their stuff. Anything after ETK didn't really do it for me. I like the chuggy groovy ones. Transona 5 on MAQ is fucking amazing...

dots and loops

is sometimes unfairly maligned.

I'll always have a place for it in my heart cos its where i started with them.

But you're kinda starting at their pinnacle with Emperor...

aye I had been told that, but sod it - i'll see what they offer me in their other stuff. What's 'Space age bachelor pad music' like?

For

completists only!

No way, i love that cd!

It's got some great songs on it, and fits right in with the period and style that people are talking about here.

Having said that, i got it for 5.99 and i don't know whether i'd want to pay much more than that for something that's not quite a full album.

Basically, if you see it for a good price get it.
