well

you could build a time machine I guess. Or y'know, not reallt worry about the bloody layout of Last.Fm

Your choice

i won't reallt worry about it too much

just, y'know, i thought with all you lastfm obsessed people might be able to point me in the direction of solving an untroubling task if anybody knew how to do such a thing

i'll skip the time machine MR HUMOUR

the new layout is better

once you thoroughly explore it. it's just that we're used to the old one. this one will be settled in in no time :)

i don't think their is anyway of reverting to the classic layout.....

websites need updating

that is a fact

state your

distaste here:
http://www.last.fm/forum/21713/_/433131

maybe it'll help, i dunno. worth a try anyway.

the

best thing they could do is to add a pause button to the radio station, its so annoying not being able to stop a track without skipping it entirely!

amen.

they/we can't legally do that

due to their/our status as a radio station

thats

a shame.
do you have any idea what the stations stream at?

128kbps

ahhh

ok! are you still working for them?

I have ever so slightly warmed to it

but it's still far too confusing to navigate around.

I suppose my biggest gripe is the weekly charts missing from the profile, but I suppose they can be found if you mind clicking a few links.

I still prefer the "ol' last fm" by a long shot though. I don't think I'll be renewing my subscription.

It looks great.

I was a bit worried that my scrobbling had stopped working, but it seems ok now.

I felt like this

when the BBC Sport website got updated, lost, cold and empty.

I'm in two minds, me

On the one hand, I think it's a really good design.

On the other hand, I keep on losing shit.

Same here

keep losing shit, has anyone seen my playlist?

But i've found loads of other things that i would normally ignore on the old site.

i like it

because it seems to constantly update the weekly chart instead of doing it once a week. it's the little things that count.

I'm totally missing the big idea.

It still counts what you play - cool. What everyone wants really.

But there's some talk of adding things to a library (that doesn't seem to be that easily looked at or modified and isn't on any of the gazillion tabs for functions I don't really understand or want), and playing stations is a bit like having iTunes on random. You can't really use it to listen to things properly because most things are on preview, and the way pages link together seems muddled and counter-intuitive to me.

I don't get it, basically.

BUT

May I just say that last.fm/presents is awesome, and I'm liking the paint mark across the top, and finding out whether your averagely compatible or SUPER or Very High 5 with someone is fun.

BUT - why is Four Tet in my 'library'of recent stuff? I hate Four Tet and I don't have any.

And my 'playlist' has been banged up front-and-centre

but I can't figure out how to change it, or how it relates to my 'library'.

Argh
