Looking to start band in Cardiff

I'm a 21 year old female and me and my boyfriend are looking to move to Cardiff and start a band, only we have nowhere to live, can anyone help?

  • A little bit of advice

    If you are going to move to Cardiff look at the following areasto live: Roath, Canton, Heath.

    I lived in Cardiff for 6 years and was in a band. There is a bit of a scene in Cardiff that is definitely worth tapping in to. Womanby Street is the area to head for. there is a bar called Dempseys, The City Arms and a club called Clwb Ifor Bach which are the main places to meet other people in bands etc.

    there is a guy called Gary who holds a night called 'Twisted By Design' every other Saturday, upstairs at Dempseys. He also DJ's on Thursday in The City Arms. He is a good person to get to know cos he has some good contacts and will play your music at his nights if he likes it.
