Artists: volcano!

Never one to shy away from the new, DiS would like to introduce Chicago's volcano!

Every now and again a record arrives at the DiSopolis that catches the attention of one of us to the point where it must be listened to immediately, be it for something special on the press release, the artwork or simply by being a new record from one of our favourite artists. volcano! (yes, small 'v' and exclamation mark are necessary) didn't seem to fit into any of these specific categories, though the artwork is quite pretty.

Such is the excellence of their Leaf-released debut Beautiful Seizure that it was deemed necessary to let you know about them before the album comes out, this February 28th.

Comprised of three Chicago-dwelling men; Sam, Aaron and Mark play drums, guitar and electronics respectively and have a produced a work that is massive in scope and pleasing in fulfillment.

There are no current concrete plans to tour the UK, but we felt it important to draw your attention to the release of their debut (yes, that's February 28th) and give you some links to have a listen yourself.
