Scottish indie-emo types Stapleton have split up.

Glasgow's Stapleton have decided to call it a day, for now. Bassist Ian Arthur has said that after "5 years of no-one giving a shit or taking notice" he and his bandmates, guitarist Al Paxton and drummer Gordon Farqhuar, have decided to give up the band.

The trio will regroup soon to discuss plans for the future, and Arthur remains hopeful that there's still life in the group yet.

They haven't!!!!

It's ok!!!! Stapleton haven't split!!!! They are taking a break. i was well worried then. sort it out!

Well, I only wrote they were splitting until a further decision was made, thats what Ian told me.....do we write a new article on it?

Indeed. Stapleton are immense. And they've not split now, they changed their minds and decided to keep going. Thanks for making me look like a tit, lads. :-p
