Artists: Dinosaur Jr

Retro grunge brilliance! Dinosaur Jr will be stepping over little fury (sic already!) things while they play a trio of dates around their ATP appearance.

The band - who are apparently working on new material - will stop off at...

May
21 Manchester Academy
22 Birmingham Academy
23 Bristol Academy

Dinosaur Jr enjoyed a return to the spotlight last year when Sweet Nothing re-issued their first three albums. They're reviewed over there. Yup.

Fact:

I didn't listen to ANYTHING other than dinosaur jr from the years 2000-2003

dont try it I could barely move

Another Fact

Dinosaur Jr were the loudest band I've ever seen back in 1993 when Mike Johnson played bass & they were touring 'Where you been'.

J mascis

and the fog at portsmouth wedgewood rooms 2001 permanently damaged my hearing, I used to be able to hear the barriers go down as I sat on farncombe train stations platform and then I couldn't, thats how I know. It was worth it though.

Summer 2005

at the forum I was right at the front for most of the set and had ringing/hissing for 3 days - properly scary and since then I've invested in earplugs.

It was just relentless! :D

you're living all over me.

I've been to some LOUD gigs. Merzbow. Alec Empire / ATR etc etc.
Went to see Dinosaur play you're living all over me back last summer, at Koko.
I had to go to the doctors two days later. It sounded like my head was being held underwater.
Which in a way, is a good thing!
