Futureheads A To Z: Play Hunt the CD!

Those crazy kids The Futureheads are working hand in hand with DiS to allow fans a sneak preview of their forthcoming record. Except there's a twist...
Just to make the prize seem that extra bit special, you'll have to use your nouse for this one. Here's the deal: CDs with the ace new track 'The City Is Here For You To Use' will be left in secret locations all over the UK. We at Drowned In Sound will be hosting a special messageboard that reveals where to get your hands on the CDs, allowing you to go pick them up, give them a listen and post your opinions on the board.
Once you've had your 2 cents, you'll then get the chance to win a trip to New York by coming up with the bestest hiding place for the CD. All you have to do is post the new location on the message board and help create a chain for the next people to start on. You can also e-mail in a photo of the location to thefutureheads@679recordings.com.

i dunno, i think i dislike them. because i might have accidently heard them last year at the v festival. whoever i heard on the nme stage the day kelly osbourne cancelled (and messed up the scedule) at around 125-130. were rubbish, and i was under the impression it was the futureheads. someone describe their music to me and what they look like, and ill tell you if it was them. (or in fact if anyone can confirm it wasnt the futureheads and indeed some rubbish band that no one likes.)
or in fact i might just spend some time downloading a few of their tracks to see if i like them

ok ive just downloaded 'a to b' by the futureheads, and it wasnt them i saw. the people i saw couldnt sing (the singer screached, and it was death/nu metalish) and they sounded nothing like the futureheads on a to b.
i like them :] or at least a to b, if they sound like that on all their songs, im a fan...
very funky :)-

yeh i do like them. man i feel dumb, as from last year ive thought they were crap, when in fact who i thought was crap wasnt them at all.

nah it wasnt martin grech. it was a band not a solo artist. im starting to think it mightve been a million dead. as the singer had the same sort of fuzzy afro hair...
its a mystery!

Its not hidden as such but you do gotta find the place.
Im gonna be working on the bar at The Music Room, in peterlee.
Its this wednesday (the 23rd) and the event is Sounds Alive.
Its about an half an hours drive from sunderland.
The Music Room is situated in the college called EDHCC.
I will be wearing a NIRVANA top and all you gotta do is come
and ask me for a WILD DREAM.
This is not a drink but it will get you the amazing cd!

A Woman Of No Importance!
It 2 quid on the door (although you dont have to pay in the gig to get to the bar) and doors open at eight.
