Once upon a time there was this band called the White Stripes who sold some records. Back in their hometown of Detroit, there was a man called Brendan Benson who I reckon is better but sold approximately no records in comparison. They formed a band with The Greenhornes, called themselves The Raconteurs (or, if you live in Australia, The Saboteurs) and lived happily ever after.
