Awwwwwwww, ya mom is so fat (how fat is she?)
We rode up on her back to get some burgers from Wendy's
and her skates went flat; I got stuck in her butt crack
They thought I was lost but I was caught by the G-strap
Heaven forbid a giant fart would give way
Cause that would blow me round the world in a day
We drove into the drive-in and she didn't have to pay
because we dressed her up to look just like a Chevrolet
I forgot how much I
adore this album. No other album makes me laugh quite as much as this one...The Quinton skit is so funny. Its all perfect.
ya mama's
got an afffffrooooooooo, with a chinstrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrap
////that line gets me every time, it's all in the delivery!
Every line is gold
Ya mama is so big and fat that she can get busy
with twenty-two burritos, but times are rough
I seen her in the back of Taco Bell with handcuffs

Yup. Clipse, Wu Tang, Lil Wayne.

.
I hate these threads.
Theres one every week.
Lol.
I used to post in everyone of them about how annoying there were and how lamely predictable the replies usually are. Now I just smile to myself.
.
"Check out Jurassic Park - they don't rap about shooting people like a lot of the others"
"You might like the Roots...
they use REAL instruments"
I think its the clarification of 'good' hip-hop that I find so offensive. You don't get people asking for 'good' indie.
Shit, i've started getting annoyed again.
.
Haha – so true. 'Good' meaning what, exactly? 'Good' as in 'not sounding like hop hop'??
Hold on
the title seems like its coming from a place of ignorance. Whats wrong with giving someone a few pointers if they dont know where to turn? The person didnt specify that they wanted "original" or "experimental" or "non-gangster" or "intelligent" or anything that you might possibly have grounds to take offence with...
Oh fuck
off you snob, ppl have to start somewhere with music.
I meant
thought_dreams, not your Mr. :/
no they're not...
they are Fuckin' Incredible !!!!
good call Blood...
Cheers
The Cold Vein is compulsory listening, in my opinion.
Aside from all the ones posted above
The Tommy Boy "Greatest Beats" Double/Triple CD (depending on package) is a brilliant walk-through of the early to mid hip-hop era. Some real gems on there from when hip hop was really new and bursting with creativity.
