Drain all the water out of the packet
Chop up tofu into smallish (2cm cubes) and put them in a freezer bag
Freeze
Thaw by putting bag in warm water
Put cubs of tofu into a bowl and pour an amount (up to you) of soy sauce (preferable Tamari or Shoyu)
Leave for at least 30 mins
Fry in a wok with oil (I use a mix of olive and seasame) until golden brown
Add a bit of chopped garlic, peppers and say mushrooms and cook for about 4 mins
Serve with either Udon noodles or Brown rice.

If you havne't got enough time for the whole freezing overnight then at least marinade in Tamari (after removing and squeezing out water) for 30 mins - it really makes the difference.
Other nice variations - coconut and jerk or thai green curry.
If you use silken tofu you can essentially make it just like scrambled egg.

But I don't know any good tofu recipes for little boys. Normally put it in stir-fries.

stirfry is the best. Marinate it in some ginger, garlic, honey and soy for a bit beforehand then fry it off in sesame oil

marinate it in lime juice, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, soy and tomato puree, then fry it. Have it with stir fried veg and noodles. Mmm.
